MOSSAIC

A cosy, tile-based ecosystem building game.

Place land tiles on the board to earn points and provide homes for a diverse cast of animals. Place habitat tokens on tiles to attract critters which boost your score and change the tiles around them. As you discover more tiles and more creatures, you'll add more tiles to your bag. See how many points you can earn before you run out of tiles!

In Mossaic, diversity is key. Try and discover as many tiles as possible. Try different combinations of creatures and land tiles - never know what you'll find.

Notes on limited time

We would have loved to have added a bag view (so you can see all the tiles and habitat tokens you have left) and an encyclopaedia so you can check the rules of the tiles you’ve discovered. Alas, we ran out of time.

Instead, we’ve included an encyclopaedia below. If you’d rather discover the rules of the tiles and habitats organically as you play, read no further. But for anybody who would rather know the rules ahead of time, see below.

I've been told that there's an issue with small screen sizes. If the tutorial box that pops up at the start is blocking your view, you can resize it by grabbing the edges and move it by grabbing just above the top. Then once you are done with the instructions, you can close it by pressing the cross.

Since this isn't a game breaking bug, we won't be fixing this until the end of the game jam rating period. Apologies for the inconvenience!
